DO NOT run it without anything inside as it’s a bad try for the coupling system.</p><p>2. It’s totally normal when using any blender at the beginning the motor might smell but don’t worry, that because the new motor gets heat up and it is burning off the excess lubricant coated on the copper coils, it will go away after few more usage. &nbsp;Thanks for your attention.</p>
