STAMFORD, Conn., May 1, 2008 -- Omega Engineering's HHG191 Gauss meter
allows for measurements up to 2000 mG to 200 microtesla with a basic
accuracy of 2.5% + 6-digit. It measures extremely low-frequency (30 to
300Hz) electromagnetic fields in electric transmission equipment,
microwave ovens, air conditioners, computer monitors and video/audio and other devices.
The
HHG191 features an overload display, low battery indicator, and
microtesla and milli-Gauss display options. A 9V battery is included.
The
CE-compliant device is suitable in industries such as air shipment,
medical manufacturing and oil and can be used, for example, to compare
Earth's vector fields, measure residual fields, or map field
perturbationsin; in air-shipment inspection, for magnet
classification, to analyze magnetic circuitry and components, or in
magnetic resonance imaging.
