[Product Structure and Composition]
This product consists of the mask body (including nose clip) and mask straps. The mask body is a three-layer structure:

• The middle layer is a filtration layer made of polypropylene melt-blown fabric.
• The other layers are made of spunbond non-woven fabric.
• The nose clip is made of galvanized iron wire covered with polyethylene plastic.
• The ear straps for the tie-on mask are made of spunbond non-woven fabric, while the ear straps for the ear-loop mask are elastic bands made of spandex polyester material.

[Product Performance]

1. Appearance

   • The mask's appearance should be clean, intact in shape, and free from holes or stains.

2. Structure and Dimensions

   • When worn, the mask should cover the wearer’s nose, mouth, and chin. The mask dimensions should meet the requirements outlined in Table 1.

3. Nose Clip

   • 3.1 The mask is equipped with a nose clip made of malleable material, offering good flexibility.
   • 3.2 The length of the nose clip should be no less than 8.0 cm.

4. Mask Straps

   • 4.1 The straps should be convenient for wearing and removing.
   • 4.2 The breaking strength at the connection points between each strap and the mask body should be no less than 10N.

5. Synthetic Blood Penetration

   • After 2mL of synthetic blood is sprayed onto the outer surface of the mask at a pressure of 16.0kPa (120mmHg), no penetration should occur on the inner surface.

6. Filtration Efficiency

   • 6.1 Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE): The bacterial filtration efficiency of the mask should be no less than 95%.
   • 6.2 Particle Filtration Efficiency (PFE): The mask's filtration efficiency for non-oily particles should be no less than 30%.

7. Pressure Difference (Δp)

   • The pressure difference for gas exchange between the two sides of the mask should not exceed 49 Pa.

8. Flame Retardancy

   • The mask should use flame-retardant materials on both sides. After being removed from the flame, the burning duration should not exceed 5 seconds.

9. Microbial Indicators

   • Medical surgical masks should be sterile.

10. Ethylene Oxide Residue

    • For masks sterilized using ethylene oxide, the residue should not exceed 10μg/g.
