Description of Sensor Communication Protocol:
If you are connecting multiple sensors to PLC, configuring or connecting to a programmable data collector, it is recommended to use the standard for ModBus-RTU protocol (hex sending and receiving).
Standard for ModBus-RTU communication protocol
1. Serial Port Format
8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity bit, baud rate 9600bps, the serial port debugging software is set to hex sending and receiving, the interval between two communications is at least 1000ms, the CRC in the manual is the parity bit, 2 words Festival.
2. Register Address
The YGC-SM comprehensive soil sensor can integrate up to 8 soil elements, namely soil temperature, soil moisture, electrical conductivity, and soil nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium content. Each element has its own register address.

Troubleshooting :
The display value of the instrument is incorrect when the analog signal or RS485 is output. Correct data may not be acquired due to wiring problems or communication serial port failures. Please check whether the wiring is correct and firm, whether the serial port is occupied, and whether the serial port settings are correct;
