AVD06X Non Contact Voltage Tester Pen Electric AC Power Detector 12-1000V Dual Mode Adjustable Sensitivity Breakpoint Locator Warning: To avoid poible electric shock or personal injury: Please use this tester strictly according to this manual, otherwise the protection function provided by the tester may be affected. If the power indicator is not lit, do not use it. Before use, test on a known live power supply to ensure that the product is in good working condition. When using this tester, even if there is no sound or light alarm, there may still be voltage. The tester only indicates the effective voltage when there is an AC voltage to generate a sufficient strength electrostatic field. If the field strength is very low, the tester may not be able to detect it. The tester may be affected by the following factors, including but not limited to: Shielded wire/cable, thickne and type of insulation, distance from voltage source, complete insulation, differences in socket design, etc. If the tester is damaged, or the tester cannot work normally, do not use it. Do not apply a voltage exceeding the rated voltage marked on the tester. When testing a voltage above 30V AC, be especially careful to avoid the risk of electric shock. Observe local and national safety regulations. Use appropriate protective equipment in accordance with local or national authorities

① NCV induction head ② Flashlight ③ Sensitivity auto mode indicator ④ Power indicator ⑤ Sensitivity mode switch on ⑥ Signal strength indicator-high (red), medium (yellow), low (green) ⑦ Switch and sensitivity adjustment knob ⑧ Flashlight switch key Instructions: 1. [Turn on/off the tester] Turn on the tester: rotary switch and sensitivity adjustment knob, flashlight, sensitivity automatic mode indicator, signal strength indicator (high, medium, low) flashes once at the same time, the default is the sensitivity automatic mode when the power is turned on, the mode indicator and power indicator are always on . Turn off the tester: When the tester is turned on, turn the knob to OFF, the power indicator light goes out, and the tester turns off. 2. [Sensitivity auto/manual mode selection] The default is the sensitivity automatic mode when the power is turned on. The detectable voltage range is about 48~1000V. Pre the MODE on to switch to the sensitivity manual adjustment mode. The sensitivity automatic mode indicator is off. The sensitivity is adjusted by the manual rotary switch and the sensitivity adjustment knob. The voltage range that can be measured is about 12~1000V when it is adjusted to the highest value. Pre the MODE on again to return to automatic mode. 3. [Turn on/off the flashlight] Turn on the flashlight: When the tester is turned on, pre the flashlight switch to turn on the flashlight. Turn off the flashlight: When the flashlight is on, pre the flashlight switch to turn off the flashlight. If the flashlight is not turned off, it will automatically turn off ar about 3 minutes. 4. [AC voltage detection] Insert the r head of the tester into a power socket or close to a live wire. When the tester detects an AC voltage signal, the induced voltage signal indicator flashes, and the tester lights up the corresponding signal strength indicator (high, Medium and low), and the buzzer will sound different frequencies at the same time. When an AC voltage signal is sensed, the green signal strength indicator (low) is lit; when a higher AC voltage signal is sensed, the yellow signal strength indicator (middle) is lit; when the highest AC voltage signal is sensed, The red signal strength indicator (high) is illuminated. 5. [Neutral line/Fire line discrimination] Separate the two wires to be tested as much as poible, and then use the r heads of the tester to close the wires respectively. If it is a socket, insert the probe into the jack. The tester detects that the induction signal is strong, and the induction signal is weak. If there is no induction signal, it is the neutral line. 6. [Auto power off function] When the tester is not operated for about 5 minutes and no voltage signal is detected, the tester will automatically shut down. Ar the automatic shutdown, pre the MODE on to wake up. 7. [Battery undervoltage indication] When the battery voltage is lower than about 6.5V, the power indicator light flashes 3 times, and the buzzer beeps once and it will automatically shut down. Please replace the battery in time. Ar replacing the battery, pre the MODE on once. If the switch knob is in the on position, turn it on directly, otherwise, turn the switch knob to the on position to start.
