Heats up briefly and goes off

It's a small iron, it surely gets very hot and would do the job well for light weight clothes. For good results use the steam. The red light comes on briefly and goes off. Maybe that's why the heat doesn't impact much. Rest assured u won't burn ur clothes. It's foldable and suitable for travel. But I think it should be cheaper than this.
